Following pre application discussions which involved MADE and the local planning authority, an application was submitted to deliver 55% affordable housing units including the removal of substandard post war prefabricated council houses.
The process also involved close interaction with Worcestershire Highways Authority which involved the scrutiny of the surrounding highway network, together with how the scheme interacts with the neighbouring primary school and routes to public transport. A Travel Plan was also submitted to ensure a sustainable access stagey was developed.
The application was approved by committee on 22nd January 2014.
