Kings Triangle

This brownfield regeneration proposal includes new retail, office and residential units. The focus of our work involved reviewing the bus routes through the development site and to review town centre parking to ensure that the town centre development can be as sustainable as possible; with balanced parking numbers and enhanced facilities for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.


The existing provision of town centre transport facilities was previously audited during the planning process and the enhancements currently being promoted were developed through discussions with Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The updated designs included investment in new public realm, provision of new car and cycle parking, enhanced public transport facilities as well as  improved pedestrian crossings at signalised junctions. The production of an updated Travel Plan reinforced the use of sustainable proposals.
