Faheem joined mode as a transport technician in January 2020, who has three years experience in transport planning and his main responsibilities include swept path analysis, highway & technical design; along with the analysis of layouts and checking on the viability of a site in regards to transport access.

Faheem is enthusiastic member of mode & In his spare time, he enjoys bike riding & eating out.

Danielle is an experienced office manager with over 12 years’ experience. She prides herself on building strong relationships with all key stake holders throughout the business, but also building strong external relationships. 

Danielle also comes with vast experience in HR, pensions, account administration, H&S and internal recruitment, priding herself on finding the right talent and fit for the business.

She enjoys traveling in her spare time.

Sarah is a Financial Controller at mode.  With over ten year’s experience in the financial sector she is a highly organised and competent accountant.

She has been a full member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2012.

In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and running.

Katie is a Transport Planner and has joined Mode from Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure. Katie has 3 years’ experience in both the private and public sector, with experience in a variety of different areas.

Katie developed an interest in Transport Planning whilst studying Geography at The University of Salford. After which, Katie was awarded the Rees Jeffrey’s Road Fund Bursary and then  went on to study Transport Engineering and Planning.

In her spare time Katie enjoys spending time with her family, visiting new places and is a keen hiker, and has recently visited Fort William to climb Ben Nevis (where it did not stop raining)!

Mark joins mode with over five years’ experience in transport planning, helping private and public sector clients in his previous role.

Mark has extensive experience in a variety of different areas, including the preparation of Transport Assessments and Statements, Travel Plans, Parking Strategies, Construction Logistics Plans and technical software such as CAD, QGIS and the Junctions 9 and LinSig modelling packages.

In his spare time he can often be found on, or plotting, the next adventure or skiing trip, having recently survived a 5,000 mile, two-week road trip from New York to San Francisco!

Samantha Nespor

Samantha Nespor

Graduate Transport Planner

Samantha has a BA (hons) degree in Geography from the University of Birmingham and has joined mode as a Graduate Transport Planner.

Samantha’s interest in transport planning developed through her planning modules at university, one in which she received a first-class grade for developing a new neighbourhood plan for Castle Vale in Birmingham. She has a passion for investigating and finding solutions for physical and environmental issues in urban areas and how they relate to people, transport and planning concerns.

She has experience with technical software such as Junctions9, ArcGIS and TRICS and is involved in writing Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans for our clients.

In her spare time she enjoys training at her local Crossfit gym in Olympic Weightlifting, eating out and finding new places to travel to.


Josh Norris

Senior Transport Planner

Josh is a Senior Transport Planner with a wide range of experience in Development Planning and Development Control. He has worked on a variety of residential, commercial, retail and leisure led projects for both public and private sector clients in the UK.

Josh is skilled in a variety of different areas, including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Parking Strategies, Site Promotion, Access Appraisals and NMU Audits, along with Project Management and Tendering.  Josh also has technical experience in data manipulation and analysis, GIS mapping, junction modelling and AutoCAD.

Josh has previously provided asset support to Highways England, offering engineering and planning advice in relation to applications and local planning documents, in order to ensure the future safe and efficient operation of the motorway and trunk road network.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys music and frequently attends gigs. He also plays football and rugby from time to time, and is a regular user of the local gym and pool.


Julia Howarth

Julia is a Graduate from the University of Reading, having studied Human Geography. She developed a keen interest in transport planning through modules exploring the sustainability and feasibility aspects of transport networks. Julia joins mode to assist with ongoing projects.

In her spare time, Julia enjoys cooking, playing tennis, watching TV crime dramas and exploring new (preferably sunny!) places with friends and family.


Cillian O'Reilly

Senior Transport Planner

Cillian is a Senior Transport Planner with three years experience in Transport Planning, particularly in the development sector.  He has a MSc in Transport Planning from Cardiff University.

Cillian has extensive experience in the production of Transport Assessments / Statements, provision of technical notes, access design drawings and providing supporting information for a wide range of projects. Cillian also has experience in junction modelling, providing detailed assessments of various junction designs.

In his spare time, Cillian can be found planning his next trip to far-flung destinations. He also likes to keep active through running, tennis and golf (slightly less active).
