The 8.7ha site is bounded by A38 Bristol Street, Pershore Road, Sherlock Street and the Belgrave Middleway, which forms part of the outer ring road.

The proposal will deliver 778 new residnetial dwellings with the accommodation being made up of single bedroom apartments through to larger three-bed family homes.

The focus of the Transport Assessment and accompanying Travel Plan involved reviewing the traffic impacts on the local highway network at peak times; with balanced parking numbers and enhanced facilities for pedestrians, a review of public transport and linking the development scheme to Birmingham City Council's proposed  Cycle Revolution scheme ensured that the  development can be as sustainable as possible.
